This Privacy Policy describes how Duel Grandmaster ("we," "our," or "us") collects, uses, discloses, and safeguards your information when you download and use our mobile card game application (the "App"). The App may be published on app stores including Google Play and the Apple App Store and is intended for users aged 13 and older.

Please read this Privacy Policy carefully. By using the App, you consent to the practices described in this policy. If you do not agree with this policy, please do not use the App.

1. Information We Collect

1.1 Information You Provide Directly

Account Information: When you create an account, we may collect your username, password, avatar, and profile information.
Age Gate and Language Preference: When required, we collect your birth month and year and your language preference. We use this information to determine your age group, apply appropriate privacy settings, and provide localized content. We do not require your full date of birth for this purpose.
Communications: If you contact us for support or feedback, we collect your email address and the contents of your communication.
Profile Customization: Any customizations you make to your in-game profile or avatar.

1.2 Information Collected Automatically

Device Information: Device model, operating system version, device language, and device identifiers, including Advertising ID such as IDFA on iOS and Google Advertising ID (GAID) on Android where permitted.
Usage Data: Game progress, scores, achievements, gameplay statistics, session duration, login events, and in-app interactions.
Log Data: IP address, app crash reports, performance data, and system activity timestamps.
Purchase Data: Records of in-app purchases made through app stores such as Google Play or the Apple App Store. We do not store your payment card information.

1.3 Information Collected from Third-Party Services

We may use third-party services for analytics, attribution, advertising measurement, payment processing, and crash reporting. These services may collect and process data as described in Section 4 of this policy.

2. How We Use Your Information

To Provide and Maintain the App: Authenticate your account, save your game progress, and deliver game features including online multiplayer, chat, and leaderboards.
To Apply Age-Appropriate Privacy Settings: Use your birth month and year to determine your age group and apply appropriate privacy protections, including advertising identifier collection controls.
To Provide Localized Content: Use your language preference to display appropriate language settings and content.
To Process Transactions: Process in-app purchases and subscriptions through Google Play, the Apple App Store, or other supported app store services.
To Improve the App: Analyze usage patterns to enhance gameplay, fix bugs, and optimize performance.
To Measure Attribution and Marketing Performance: For users where permitted, use advertising identifiers and app events to measure app installs, logins, attribution, and marketing performance.
To Communicate with You: Respond to your support inquiries, send service-related announcements, and, with your consent where required, send promotional communications.
To Ensure Fair Play: Detect and prevent cheating, fraud, and other prohibited activities.
To Comply with Legal Obligations: Fulfill legal requirements and enforce our Terms of Service.

3. Legal Basis for Processing

Where applicable privacy laws require a legal basis for processing, we process your personal information based on:

Consent: Where you have provided consent for specific processing activities, such as certain advertising identifier uses where required.
Contractual Necessity: Processing necessary to provide the App services under our Terms of Service.
Legitimate Interests: Processing for fraud prevention, app improvement, attribution measurement, analytics, and security, provided our interests do not override your privacy rights.
Legal Compliance: Processing necessary to comply with applicable legal obligations.

5. Advertising Identifiers and Age-Based Controls

Advertising identifiers are device identifiers used for attribution, analytics, advertising measurement, and related purposes. Examples include IDFA on iOS and Google Advertising ID (GAID) on Android.

The App uses an age gate to determine appropriate privacy settings. Users under 18 may continue to use the App, but we disable collection of advertising identifiers such as IDFA and GAID for those users. Users aged 18 or older may have advertising identifiers collected where permitted by platform rules and applicable law.

On iOS, where required, we request permission through Apple's App Tracking Transparency framework before enabling IDFA collection. If tracking permission is denied, restricted, unavailable, or disabled at the system level, we do not enable IDFA collection.

On Android, where permitted, GAID may be used for attribution, analytics, and advertising measurement for users aged 18 or older. We do not enable GAID collection for users identified as under 18 through the App's age gate.

6. Data Sharing and Disclosure

We do not sell your personal information. We may share your information in the following circumstances:

Service Providers: With trusted third-party vendors who assist us in operating the App, including analytics, hosting, attribution, advertising measurement, payment processing, and crash reporting.
Legal Compliance: When required by law, court order, or governmental authority.
Protection of Rights: To protect our rights, property, or safety, or the rights, property, or safety of others.
Business Transfers: In connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, we will notify you before your information becomes subject to a different privacy policy.

7. Data Retention and Security

Retention

We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the App services. We will delete or anonymize your information within a reasonable period after account deletion or when it is no longer needed, unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by law.

Security

We implement reasonable technical and organizational security measures to protect your information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. However, no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is 100% secure.

8. Children's and Teen Privacy

The App is intended for users aged 13 and older. The App is not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we become aware that a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, we will take steps to delete such information promptly.

For users under 18, we apply additional privacy protections, including disabling collection of advertising identifiers such as IDFA and GAID. Users under 18 may still use the App, but advertising identifier collection is not enabled for them.

We use birth month and year only to determine the appropriate age group and privacy settings. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal information in a way that is inconsistent with this policy, please contact us immediately.

9. Your Rights

9.1 California Residents (CCPA/CPRA)

If you are a California resident, you may have the following rights, subject to applicable legal limitations:

Right to Know: Request disclosure of the categories and specific pieces of personal information we have collected about you.
Right to Delete: Request deletion of personal information we have collected about you, subject to certain exceptions.
Right to Correct: Request correction of inaccurate personal information.
Right to Opt-Out: We do not sell your personal information. If applicable law treats certain advertising or analytics sharing as a "sale" or "sharing," you may contact us to exercise applicable opt-out rights.
Right to Non-Discrimination: We will not discriminate against you for exercising your privacy rights.

9.2 Canada Users (PIPEDA)

9.3 General Rights

All users may:

Access and Update: Review and update your account information through the App settings where available.
Delete Account: Request account deletion through the App or by contacting us.
Opt-Out of Communications: Unsubscribe from promotional emails by following the instructions in the email.
Advertising Identifier Controls: Adjust advertising identifier settings through your device operating system settings, where available.

Your information may be transferred to and processed in servers located outside your country or region of residence. We ensure appropriate safeguards are in place to protect your information in accordance with applicable privacy laws.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated policy in the App and updating the "Last Updated" date at the top of this policy. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.
